58 yo female, post-surgical

KT is a 58-year-old female who had a bowel resection 18 hours ago. She is currently on the post-surgical floor. KT’s nurse indicates that KT has been complaining of pain in spite of using her PCA pump. Current assessment reveals that she is alert and oriented and complaining of abdominal pain. Her heart rate is 66, respiratory rate is 22 and shallow, temperature is 99.6o F. Her SpO2 is 94% while receiving oxygen via nasal cannula at 2 Lpm.

Use the Blood Pressure and Auscultation tabs to complete the physical assessment.
